Biography

Poland's Dominik Kubera has been hotly-tipped as a future Speedway GP star - and that dream becomes a reality in 2024 after he received a permanent wild card from the SGP Commission. A graduate of the Leszno academy, Kubera won FIM Speedway World Under-21 Championship bronze in 2019 and silver in 2020. He burst on to the Speedway GP stage as wild card for the 2021 FIM Lublin Speedway GP double-header, reaching back-to-back finals, finishing second on night one and third on night two, as well as reaching the FIM Swedish Speedway GP semis that year. Kubera raced to Monster Energy FIM Speedway World Cup gold with Poland in Wroclaw on July 29, 2023, before going on to help Polish club Lublin win its second straight PGE Ekstraliga title. Now Kubera takes the step up into Speedway GP – determined to mix it with the best in the business in 2024.
