TICKETS FOR MALILLA 2024 WEEKEND ON SALE NOW

Tickets for the FIM Speedway GP of Sweden – Malilla on June 15 are on sale now, and fans can save up to 34 percent if they book by December 31.

The sport’s biggest stars return to the Skrotfrag Arena for Sweden’s biggest speedway event, with home hero Fredrik Lindgren bidding to improve on his career-best second place in the 2023 Speedway GP World Championship.

Lindgren won the 2019 event in Malilla and will be determined to get back on top as he goes for gold.

But he faces stiff competition from the likes of four-time world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik, who famously sealed his 2022 Speedway GP world crown at the Skrotfrag Arena and has three Malilla wins to his name.

Last year’s FIM Swedish Speedway GP winner Dan Bewley races for Malilla club Dackarna in the Bauhaus Elitserien and will be chasing another big victory on his Swedish home track, with teammate Andzejs Lebedevs also determined to pile up the points in his first season as a Speedway GP regular.

Fans heading to Malilla can enjoy a triple-header of FIM Speedway World Championship racing as the FIM SGP2 of Sweden – Malilla, the opening round of the 2024 FIM Speedway Under-21 World Championship, takes place on Friday, June 14.

Fans who purchase tickets for the FIM Swedish Speedway GP can enjoy a 50 percent discount on SGP2 tickets if they purchase them at the same time.

And the brand-new SGP4 category is back following its successful launch in Malilla last summer, as the sport’s youngest talents aged 11-13 battle it out on the 190cc SGP4 bike designed by six-time world champion Tony Rickardsson.

The first-ever FIM Speedway Youth World Cup event attracted an unprecedented crowd for a youth event, and the 2024 edition takes place on the Malilla training track on Saturday, June 15 – ahead of the evening’s Speedway GP showdown. Entry for SGP4 is free.

With camping available from Thursday until Sunday next to the Skrotfrag Arena, fans can make a weekend of it and enjoy Malilla’s festival of speedway in the forests.
