Biography

Former world No.2 Patryk Dudek returns to the FIM Speedway Grand Prix line-up after two years away as winner of the 2025 Speedway European Championship. This crowned a stellar season, which also saw him lift his second Polish Championship, help Torun win their first PGE Ekstraliga title since 2008 and win FIM Speedway of Nations silver with Poland. Dudek made a massive impact in his full-time debut series in 2017, finishing second to Jason Doyle in an epic Speedway GP World Championship race, which went all the way to the final round in Melbourne. That silver medal saw Dudek become the first rider in Speedway GP history to reach the World Championship’s top two in their full-time debut season. Since losing his SGP spot at the end of 2023, Dudek has been restricted to wild-card appearances, finishing fifth in Wroclaw and Torun in 2024, before taking third place at the 2024 Orlen Oil FIM Speedway GP of Poland - Warsaw. Now he gets a full-time chance to shine in 2026.
