Biography

The two-time Speedway GP silver medallist returns to the starting line-up after a year away following his third place at the 2025 FIM SGP Challenge in Holsted. After first being crowned Speedway European Championship winner in 2018, Madsen was handed a Speedway GP wild card for 2019. The Dane made a huge impact, topping the FIM Warsaw Speedway GP podium on his full-time series debut at PGE Narodowy, before going on to win two more SGP rounds in Cardiff and Torun on his way to World Championship silver that year. Madsen won his second Speedway GP silver medal and his second Speedway European Championship in a rock-solid 2022 season and followed it up by finishing fifth in the 2023 Speedway GP series. His 2023 highlight was a popular FIM Speedway GP of Denmark – Vojens victory in his homeland – his first SGP win since 2019. Despite losing his SGP status at the end of 2024, Madsen raced the 2025 FIM Speedway GP of Czech Republic - Prague, finishing third. He's back and ready to play a more regular role in the action in 2026.
