LINDBACK REMAINS WITH ROSPIGGARNA FOR 2024

Former three-time Speedway GP winner Antonio Lindback is set for another season with Swedish side Rospiggarna in 2024.

The Swedish star extended his stay in Hallstavik into a second straight season and boss Peter Jansson backed one of the sport’s most enigmatic talents to entertain the Rospiggarna fans in 2024.

He told the club’s official website: “It feels good that Antonio wants to continue with us. He has entered the club in a good way, and it feels great to have him with us next year as well. 

“This is a guy who always offers the audience good speedway and who can go out and do the most unexpected things. 

“When he gets everything right, he dominates on the track, which we saw several times during this year's season. I know he feels really focused for 2024.”

The two-time FIM Speedway World Cup winner admits it was an easy call to extend his stay in Hallstavik. Lindback said: “It feels very good to stay. I feel very comfortable in Rospiggarna with everything from the team manager to my teammates and the association. Signing for another year was no surprise. It is a very professional club that works in a good way. I can't wait for next season!”
