Former SGP2 star Kevin Juhl Pedersen is on his way to Danish Speedwayligaen side Holsted.

The 22-year-old learned his trade with the Tigers as a youth star but spent some time with Grindsted, before making the move back to Holsted halfway through the 2023 season.

The Tigers have extended his deal into 2024 and he joins the likes of 2022 Danish champion Rasmus Jensen, Rene Bach, Bastian Pedersen, Timo Lahti, Wiktor Lampart and double Swedish champion Jacob Thorssell in a strong squad.

Juhl Pedersen’s arrival could be a pivotal move as they enter an era without triple world champion Nicki Pedersen, who has completed a switch to Grindsted, having been released by the Tigers after two decades in their colours.

Elsewhere, Speedway GP legend Nicki Pedersen is joined in the Grindsted squad by Polish racer Tobiasz Musielak for this year.
