2024 PGE EKSTRALIGA FIXTURE LIST REVEALED

Poland’s PGE Ekstraliga launches on Friday, April 12 in 2024 with Speedway GP host club Wroclaw facing off with newly-promoted Zielona Gora at the Olympic Stadium on the opening night.

A Wroclaw side featuring SGP duo Tai Woffinden and Dan Bewley takes on a Falubaz team, which includes Czech Speedway GP newcomer Jan Kvech.

Meanwhile a Leszno team, featuring new signing Andzejs Lebedevs of Latvia, opens its campaign against a Czestochowa side, spearheaded by Danish duo Leon Madsen and Mikkel Michelsen, in the other opening day fixture.

Two Speedway GP clubs Gorzow and Torun meet at Edward Jancarz Stadium on Sunday, April 14 – with Gorzow’s world No.3 Martin Vaculik and SGP full-time debutant Szymon Wozniak taking on Torun’s Robert Lambert.

Champions Lublin launch their title defence away to Grudziadz on the Sunday, as the visitors’ four-time world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik, Fredrik Lindgren and Jack Holder come up against Aussie ace Jason Doyle, who will be making his debut for the home side.

The league’s 2023 top two face off in round seven on June 2 as Lublin hosts Wroclaw, before the clubs meet in the return match at the Olympic Stadium in the final regular round of matches on August 11.

Zielona Gora’s promotion sees the much-anticipated return of the Lubuskie derby against Gorzow – one of the sport’s biggest rivalries. Falubaz host the first meeting of the clubs on Sunday, May 5, before their second showdown takes place in Gorzow on July 21.

The top six teams advance into the play-off quarter finals, with the first legs on August 23 and 25 and the deciders on September 1. The semi-final, first legs take place on September 6 and 8, with the second legs on September 13 and 15.

The Grand Final first leg is scheduled for September 22, with the decider on September 29, with the bronze-medal matches due to take place on September 20 and 29.
