Great Britain bids to regain the FIM SON trophy from Mark Lemon’s Australian side on the track where Lions stars Robert Lambert, Dan Bewley, Tai Woffinden and Tom Brennan famously ended the nation’s 32-year wait for a world team title in 2021. But with 15 countries battling it out in the ultimate test of team riding, it’s set to be a fiercely competitive four nights.

The action starts with Semi-Final 1 on Tuesday, July 9, featuring Poland, Sweden, Finland, France, Germany, Italy and Ukraine, with Semi-Final 2 on Wednesday, July 10 set to be contested by Australia, Denmark, Czech Republic, Latvia, USA, Slovenia and Norway.

The sport’s top eight under-21 sides battle it out over a marathon 28 heats in FIM Speedway of Nations – SON2 for the FIM Team Speedway Under-21 World Championship on Friday, July 12. Poland chases a 17th gold medal against hosts Great Britain, Denmark, Latvia, Australia, Germany, Czech Republic and Sweden.

The week then climaxes with the FIM SON Final on Saturday, July 13, as GB battles the top two teams and Final Qualifier winners from each Semi-Final for the sport’s 2024 world team championship.

The Four-Day Event Package released today offers a significant discount, when compared to individual event ticket purchases, giving fans virtually free admission to the FIM SON2 event across the three ticketed areas.

The North Grandstand and South Stand Standing remain popular choices, and there will also be a new East Standing and East Grandstand area for the FIM SON. The East Grandstand is a 3,000-capacity seated and tiered grandstand, giving unrivalled views over the third and fourth turns of the National Speedway Stadium circuit, unseen during any other meeting at Belle Vue.

Details about hospitality packages, together with race-day parking arrangements, will be announced in due course.

Belle Vue CEO Mark Lemon said: “We are thrilled to finally get the ball rolling with ticket sales for the 2024 FIM Speedway of Nations.

“At this time, only our early-bird Four-Day Event package is available, and this is to allow those who wish to attend all four events to secure the seats of their choice before we go on general sale.

“We, as a club, are very excited to host such a prestigious international event and are looking forward to welcoming everyone to Manchester for what is sure to be a thrilling week of speedway at the best racetrack in the world.”
