100 DAYS TO GO – THE COUNTDOWN IS ON TO THE FIM SPEEDWAY GP IN CARDIFF

In 100 days, Britain’s best indoor motorsport event will make a blockbuster return to Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.

On 17 August, the world’s best riders will descend on this iconic venue in the hopes of writing their names into the history books, following in the footsteps of speedway superstars Tony Rickardsson, Greg Hancock, Jason Crump, Nicki Pedersen, Chris Holder and Bartosz Zmarzlik. 

Great Britain’s Dan Bewley made history at the 2022 edition of the FIM British Speedway GP, after becoming the event's first home winner since Chris Harris triumphed in 2007. Dan and fellow Brits Robert Lambert and triple World Champion Tai Woffinden will all be vying for this year’s title in front of a home crowd. 

In 2023, Slovakia's Martin Vaculik topped the podium with a sensational final performance. 

With a strong start to the season, last year’s runner-up Jack Holder (Australia) will be looking for the top spot this time around, whilst four-time and reigning World Champion Bartosz Zmarzlik (Poland) will aim to upgrade his bronze medal to gold.
