Biography
Aussie ace Jack Holder stormed to a fantastic fourth place in the 2023 Speedway GP series, beaten to bronze only by two points. Having missed round seven in Riga due to a broken wrist, it's very likely Holder's crash at the Monster Energy FIM Speedway World Cup Final in Wroclaw cost him a place on the podium in a year he reached five SGP top threes.
He starred for his country in the 2022 FIM Speedway of Nations Final at Vojens, helping the Roos land their first world team title since 2002.
He was handed an unexpected Speedway GP debut season in 2022 following the suspension of Artem Laguta and Emil Sayfutdinov. Despite finishing 12th in the standings, he guaranteed himself a second season in Speedway GP by finishing third at the 2022 FIM GP Challenge in Glasgow, beating fellow Aussie star Max Fricke in a run-off for the final qualification place.
He is no stranger to the FIM Speedway Grand Prix pits, having been a regular visitor over the years with his 2012 world-title-winning older brother Chris. But now 2023 Australian champion Jack has taken the spotlight in his own right.
