Great Britain racer Dan Bewley is determined to end his 2023 FIM Speedway Grand Prix season in style as he goes for DeWalt FIM Speedway GP of Poland – Torun victory this Saturday.

The Cumbrian heads to the Marian Rose Motoarena placed fifth in the Speedway GP standings on 98 points – three ahead of seventh-placed Danish star Leon Madsen in the battle for the top-six automatic qualification spots for the 2024 series.

While the stakes are high as Bewley bids to book a Speedway GP berth for the third straight season, the Belle Vue rider isn’t focusing on the qualification battle.

He has Torun victory in his sights as he bids to add to his Holmgrens Bil FIM Swedish Speedway GP triumph and end 2023 on top of the podium.

He said: “Fifth place going into Torun is good. I will try and finish with a win. I am not really thinking about the top six, to be honest.  I just need to have a good round in Torun and finish the season off with a good one.

“Torun is a pretty good track. I have been there a couple of times, and it can be good. It depends how they prep it, but it’s a pretty iconic venue.”
