BIOGRAPHY

Great Britain hero Robert Lambert ended 2021 on a huge high after leading his country to its first world team title in 32 years at the FIM Speedway of Nations Final in Manchester.

Despite captain Tai Woffinden crashing out on day one, Lambert stepped up as skipper, inspiring Dan Bewley and Tom Brennan to gold with victory over Poland in the Grand Final.

He enjoyed a solid SpeedwayGP debut season in 2021, finishing 10th in the World Championship and receiving a wild card for 2022.

With a world team gold medal under his belt, he heads into 2022 racing for his first SpeedwayGP win.

DID YOU KNOW? Lambert’s 2020 Speedway European Championship win made him the first rider to qualify automatically for the FIM Speedway Grand Prix series by winning the continental championship.
