Polish star Szymon Wozniak has completed a return to boyhood club Bydgoszcz as new European champion Andzejs Lebedevs takes his place in Gorzow for 2025.

Wozniak’s departure from the Edward Jancarz Stadium was confirmed with an emotional farewell to fans, before Metalkas 2. Ekstraliga side Bydgoszcz confirmed they had re-signed the 2024 Speedway GP star.

His departure follows Gorzow’s move for Lebedevs, who completes a switch from relegated Leszno.

Elsewhere, Aussie ace Jason Doyle is on his way back to Czestochowa in the PGE Ekstraliga for 2025 as he prepares to make his comeback from the torn rotator cuff, which ended his 2024 season.

In his place, former club Grudziadz has recruited former Speedway GP winner Michael Jepsen Jensen, who ended the season in red-hot form in their colours covering for the 2017 SGP world champion. He is joined at the club by Aussie ace Max Fricke and Vadim Tarasenko, who have extended their stays.
