TWO-YEAR DEAL FOR JAKOBSEN IN DENMARK
27/11/2024
Danish international Frederik Jakobsen admits there’s nowhere else he would rather race in Denmark after penning a new two-year deal with Fjelsted.
Jakobsen announced the news on his official Facebook page and can’t wait to lead his boyhood team into 2025 and 2026.
He posted: “Really happy to have signed a new two-year contract with my childhood club, Fjelsted. Nowhere else I see myself riding and the motivation to fight for medals with the club is huge.
“A big thank you goes to the club, the team, the fans and my fantastic sponsors. Looking forward to seeing you all in the new year and hope you have a fantastic winter.”
Elsewhere, Grindsted has added former Speedway GP star Przemyslaw Pawlicki to its 2025 side.
The Pole enters his third straight season for the club and has been busy in the Speedwayligaen, racing 24 of Grindsted’s last 26 matches.
A delighted Pawlicki said: “I’m very happy to be back in Grindsted! 2024 was another good season for me in the Danish league, but every year I strive to become a better rider.
“I put a lot of effort into preparing myself before each season, aiming to improve my form and deliver performances that are both personally satisfying and pleasing to the fans and the club.
“I’m thrilled to represent the club from Grindsted for another year. This is the place where I have the most memories and where I’ve made the most friends during my years here. In short, Grindsted feels like home to me.”
Esbjerg has agreed a two-year deal with Danish racer Matias Nielsen for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.
