TARASENKO SEALS ROSPIGGARNA SWITCH
26/11/2024
Swedish side Rospiggarna has drafted in Vadim Tarasenko for 2025.
Tarasenko joins forces with his uncle, 2021 Speedway GP world champion Artem Laguta, in Hallstavik.
The duo race alongside Speedway GP rider Kai Huckenbeck, former British champion Adam Ellis, Aussie international Ryan Douglas and local young gun Dante Johansson.
Returning Rospiggarna team manager Mikael Teurnberg is backing Tarasenko to strengthen the side.
He said: “Having Vadim Tarasenko in the team will be a good reinforcement. He will be one of the heat leaders in the team and a rider who feels good in Hallstavik on our track.
“He has a very high top level and has raced for many years in Sweden. He has represented Västervik and Smederna most recently. He finished in an honourable 15th place in the average charts in the Bauhaus league in 2024. He will give the team an edge together with Artem Laguta.”
