Polish giants Lublin have taken a giant stride forward in their 2025 preparations after confirming contract extensions for Speedway GP trio Fredrik Lindgren, Jack Holder and Dominik Kubera, plus SGP2 champion Mateusz Cierniak.

The back-to-back PGE Ekstraliga champions are eight points clear at the top of the table as they prepare for another end-of-season play-off showdown.

They already had four-time Speedway GP world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik on board for next year. And now some of the world’s best riders will join him at a club which has gone from the old Second Division to become Polish speedway’s top club within just seven years.

A delighted Kubera said: "Everything is as it should be in this club. The warm and family atmosphere that prevails here makes everyone feel very good.

“I am glad that I am staying at Motor Lublin because I really wanted to be here. I am fighting for my results to be the best possible and to win as many medals for Motor as possible.”

It was an easy call for Holder to extend his stay. He said: "If you find a happy place, you want to stay there for as long as you can and there's no reason to change that. Lublin is a great club.”

World No.2 Lindgren agreed. He added: "I am very happy that I am staying in Lublin. I feel very good, and I am happy with everything that is happening in the club and of course the fans.

“We have great teammates, and everything is working very well. I am very happy that I will stay here.”

Cierniak looks forward to continuing his fledging senior career at Lublin after winning back-to-back SGP2 and SON2 gold medals as a junior.

He said: "I've been in Lublin for four years now and I want to stay longer. Looking back, I can see how my sports level has improved. I want to continue to develop, and I think this is a good way to do it.”
