SGP2 CHAMPION PRZYJEMSKI: ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT
30/01/2025

SGP2 champion Wiktor Przyjemski pledged to keep working in his quest to join the elite club of double FIM Speedway Under-21 world champions in 2025.
The Lublin star, who is currently at a training camp with the Polish national team in Malta, became the country’s latest SGP2 champion, sealing the title in Torun last September.
While Przyjemski must re-qualify for the series like every other rider this year, he would love to join Emil Sayfutdinov, Darcy Ward, Maksym Drabik and Mateusz Cierniak in the exclusive club of riders, who have won junior speedway’s biggest prize twice.
Despite topping the standings in 2024, he’s determined to raise his level again in his quest to retain the crown. He told Polski Zuzel TV: “There are always many things to improve, especially for me, and I know that.
“This season was successful for me. I showed that I can also ride on more difficult tracks. However, we are constantly working to get better. It will not be an easy title defence, but in speedway everything is possible.”
Asked if he was concerned about being the rider everyone will want to beat in SGP2 this year, he replied: “I don't think about it that way. I am the same rider I was. I try to continue to win races and give 100 percent.”
Przyjemski, who also won a third straight SON2 gold medal with his country and lifted the 2024 PGE Ekstraliga title with Lublin, would love to build on his SGP2 success and take his place in the Speedway GP series one day.
He added: “It certainly wouldn't be easy, but I think it would be a great adventure and learning experience for me to compete with the best in the world and that's how I approach it. But the time will come someday.”
