RISS SEALS OXFORD RETURN
28/11/2024
German international Erik Riss is targeting a consistent 2025 season with the Oxford Spires after extending his stay at Sandy Lane.
Riss joined the club midway through the 2024 season, replacing Danish star Nicolai Klindt in the side.
He joins 2024 teammates Rohan Tungate and Charles Wright in the side, as well as rising star Luke Killeen. With Riss starting the season in Spires colours, he hopes to hit the ground racing.
He said: “I really want to step it up and be consistent all the way through in 2025. I’m very excited to be back at Oxford next year and thank (team manager) Peter (Schroeck) and (co-promoter) Jamie (Courtney) for putting their trust in me.
“I really enjoyed my time at Oxford in 2024 and we had a great team. We will also have a great team next year and I am already excited to be riding at Sandy Lane again.”
Elsewhere, Sheffield has completed their side by recruiting British rider Danyon Hume.
