Polish racer Przemyslaw Pawlicki is set for his third straight season with Piraterna in Sweden’s Bauhaus Elitserien in 2025.

The former Speedway GP star was confirmed as the Motala club’s latest signing, joining Czech ace Vaclav Milik and fellow Polish stars Oskar Fajfer and Oskar Paluch in the squad, as well as Denmark’s Tim Sorensen and Swedish trio Mathias Thornblom, Jonathan Ejnermark and Ludvig Selvin.

Team manager Anders Bylin is backing Pawlicki to emerge as a leader to a youthful squad.

He told the club’s official website: “It is really nice to finally have it all sorted out with Przemysław Pawlicki and his team. We've been in contact since the last meeting of last year, but sometimes things take a little longer.

“In Przemek, we get a stable heat leader and a rider who in his best moments can beat just about anyone. He truly pushes opponents once the tapes go up. He’s a crowd favourite who will be incredibly useful to the team.

“It will be something of a father role in the pits for Przemek as this year's team is slightly younger and less experienced than in 2024. But that’s something we believe he will shoulder well.

“With this great signing, there are now only two spots left in the squad. Who will be the next one in? We hope to be able to present next signing shortly.”

Elsewhere, Malilla club Dackarna recently confirmed the addition of Danish rider Patrick Hansen to their 2025 squad.
