NEW DANISH DEAL FOR DOYLE

Aussie ace Jason Doyle has sealed a new deal with Danish side Esbjerg for 2026.

Doyle joined the Vikings from Region Varde for the 2025 season, in which he also led Ipswich to the British Rowe Motor Oil Premiership championship and helped Czestochowa avoid relegation in Poland.

Esbjerg fell just short of the Speedwayligaen Super Final this term, but Doyle is determined to take them all the way next year.

He said: “I am really happy to return to this well-oiled club. Esbjerg Vikings, for me, stands as a club with a strong structure and a fantastic setup. I am looking forward to giving everything for Esbjerg, the club's fans and our sponsors in the new season. We want to get to the final – that is our goal.”

Esbjerg team leader Tom P Madsen added: “Jason is one of the most complete riders in the sport. He always delivers with maximum intensity, and his approach rubs off on the entire team. We are incredibly happy to have him back in Esbjerg – both as a leading figure on the track and as a standard bearer in the pits.”
