JAKOBSEN MAKES MALILLA MOVE

Danish international Frederik Jakobsen says he is targeting a Speedway GP qualification bid as he makes the move to Swedish side Dackarna for 2025.

Jakobsen last appeared for the Malilla club in 2022, and he joins forces with European champion Andzejs Lebedevs, Rasmus Jensen, Timo Lahti, Tomas H Jonasson, Avon van Dyck and Daniel Hauge Sjöström next season.

The Danish national squad member can’t wait to line up at the Skrotfrag Arena in a season when he also has his sights set on SGP and Speedway European Championship qualification.

He told the Dackarna official website: “From the first time I came to Dackarna and during the seasons I raced for the club, I enjoyed myself fantastically. I can't wait to wear the colours again.

“My goals for the coming season are to raise my top level even more and deliver consistently for my teams in Denmark, Sweden and Poland. 

"I also want to improve my performance in individual competitions even more and be part of the fight for places in the Speedway GP series and the SEC series.”

Elsewhere in the Bauhaus Elitserien, Danish star Tim Sorensen is on his way to Piraterna.
