Polish icon Bartosz Zmarzlik stormed to a 15-point maximum as Lejonen thumped Vargarna 68-22 in Sweden’s Bauhaus Elitserien on Tuesday.

Zmarzlik dominated in Gislaved and had plenty of support from the Lions team as former world No.2 Jaroslaw Hampel also went unbeaten on 13 paid 15. Their compatriot Kacper Woryna bagged a 12-point maximum from four rides, with local hero Oliver Berntzon undefeated on 10 paid 12 from four. Polish rider Marcin Nowak was the visitors’ top performer on eight.

Elsewhere, Great Britain ace Robert Lambert collected a 14 paid 15-point maximum for Vastervik as they triumphed 58-32 at home to Rospiggarna.

Danish star Mads Hansen tallied 12 paid 13, with former Swedish champion Jacob Thorssell notching nine paid 10.

Former Speedway GP regular Antonio Lindback accrued 11 for the Hallstavik club, with Poland’s Jakub Jamrog scoring 10 paid 11.

Former world No.2 Patryk Dudek was the hero for Indianerna, scoring a 15-point maximum as they triumphed 50-40 at home to Dackarna. Dudek was well supported by an 11 paid 12-point total from skipper Szymon Wozniak.

Latvian racer Andzejs Lebedevs scored 10 points for Dackarna, with Aussie international Ryan Douglas collecting nine.

In the day’s other meeting, former world No.3 Maciej Janowski raced to 12 paid 14 for Piraterna as they won 50-40 at home to Smederna. 

Magic had plenty of Polish support as Piotr Pawlicki collected 11 paid 12, Przemyslaw Pawlicki registered nine paid 11 and Oskar Fajfer added eight paid 10. Aussie star Rohan Tungate was the visitors’ top scorer on 13 paid 14, with Maksym Drabik racing to a 13.
