Polish star Dominik Kubera continued his red-hot form with a 17 paid 18-point maximum for Swedish side Lejonen as they triumphed 55-35 at home to Indianerna in the Bauhaus Elitserien on Tuesday.
Kubera won round two of the Polish Championship in Bydgoszcz on Saturday night and he continued his warm-up for the FIM Speedway GP of Great Britain – Cardiff on August 17 with a sensational six rides in Sweden.
He was well supported by a 12 paid 14-point total from former world No.2 Jaroslaw Hampel, 11 from Kacper Woryna and eight paid nine from local hero Oliver Berntzon.
Speedway GP star Szymon Wozniak led the Indians score chart on 13 paid 14 points, with Great Britain racer Tom Brennan adding a useful 10 paid 11.
Elsewhere, Polish ace Maciej Janowski raced to an unbeaten 12 paid 15 points for Piraterna as they pummelled Vargarna 63-27 in Motala.
His fellow Polish racer Oskar Fajfer added 13 paid 14 with Piotr Pawlicki tallying 12. Sweden’s Mathias Thornblom registered 11 paid 13 and Czech charger Vaclav Milik notched nine paid 11. Former World Under-21 champion Jakub Miskowiak top-scored for the away team on eight.
Aussie ace Max Fricke picked up 10 paid 11 points for Vastervik as they won 48-42 at home to Smederna. He was backed up by nine-point hauls from Speedway GP medal contender Robert Lambert and former World Under-21 champion Bartosz Smektala.
Vadim Tarasenko led the Smederna scoring on 13 points, with former SGP winner Michael Jepsen Jensen adding 11 and his fellow Dane Frederik Jakobsen collecting 10 paid 12.
In the day’s other meeting, FIM Speedway of Nations silver medallist Brady Kurtz raced to 11 points for Dackarna as they won 49-41 at home to Rospiggarna.
He was aided by a nine paid 10-point total from fellow Aussie racer Ryan Douglas, while Speedway GP star Andzejs Lebedevs and former Danish champion Rasmus Jensen both bagged eight paid 10.
Former Speedway GP world champion Artem Laguta led the visitors’ score chart on 13, with SGP star Kai Huckenbeck accruing 11 and SGP2 series leader Wiktor Przyjemski scoring nine paid 10.
