Great Britain racer Robert Lambert continued his red-hot form as he blazed to a 14 paid 15-point maximum for Vastervik, inspiring them to a 57-33 win away to Rospiggarna in Sweden’s Bauhaus Elitserien on Tuesday.
Lambert lines up in the FIM Speedway GP of Great Britain – Cardiff on August 17, and the former European champion has continued the fine form that saw him win a second FIM Speedway of Nations world title with his country last month with his second league maximum in three days - following up his 15-pointer for Torun on Sunday.
He was well supported by an 11-point haul from Aussie ace Max Fricke, with American international Luke Becker notching nine paid 12, Denmark’s Mads Hansen adding nine paid 10 and double Swedish champion Jacob Thorssell accruing eight paid nine.
Former Speedway GP world champion Artem Laguta scored 11 paid 12 for Rospiggarna, with Germany’s Kai Huckenbeck registering four paid five.
Elsewhere, four-time Speedway GP world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik racked up 14 points for Lejonen as they cruised to a 58-32 victory away to Vargarna.
He was aided by a 12-point tally from Aussie star Jaimon Lidsey, plus nine paid 12 from SGP2 racer Casper Henriksson, nine paid 10 from double SGP2 champion Mateusz Cierniak and eight paid nine from Speedway GP rider Dominik Kubera. Former World Under-21 champion Jakub Miskowiak led the Vargarna score chart on 12 points.
Former Speedway GP winner Michael Jepsen Jensen collected 12 points for Smederna as they triumphed 49-41 at home to Piraterna. He was aided by 11 paid 13 points from Vadim Tarasenko and eight paid nine from former Speedway GP star Kim Nilsson.
Polish racer Oskar Fajfer topped the Pirates scoring on 12 paid 13, with former world No.6 Piotr Pawlicki picking up eight paid nine.
In the day’s other match, Aussie duo Ryan Douglas and Brady Kurtz starred for Dackarna as they won 50-40 at home to Indianerna.
Douglas topped the Malilla club’s scoring on 11, with FIM SON silver medallist Kurtz tallying 10. Latvian ace Andzejs Lebedevs added eight paid 10 with 2022 Danish champion Rasmus Jensen collecting eight paid nine and SGP rider Dan Bewley scoring four.
Gleb Chugunov topped the visitors’ scoring on 13, with Speedway GP rider Szymon Wozniak adding 11 paid 12. Former world No.2 Patryk Dudek bagged nine paid 11.
