EKSTRALIGA | SPEEDWAY GP QUARTET FIRES LUBLIN INTO FINAL

Speedway GP duo Fredrik Lindgren and Jack Holder topped the score chart for PGE Ekstraliga champions Lublin as their big guns fired them into their fourth straight play-off final.
Lublin overturned a 12-point first-leg deficit, defeating visitors Torun 59-31 on the night for a 98-82 aggregate success.
Their Speedway GP riders all hit the road for the 11-hour drive to the Deluxe Homeart FIM Speedway GP of Denmark – Vojens in good spirits, with Lindgren and Holder leading the way on 11 paid 12.
Dominik Kubera also impressed on 10 paid 11, with four-time Speedway GP champion Bartosz Zmarzlik notching nine paid 10 – just 24 hours before he bids to wrap up title No.5 in Vojens.
Great Britain racer Robert Lambert led Torun’s scoring with an impressive 15 points, with Emil Sayfutdinov scoring six and Patryk Dudek picking up five paid six points.
The other semi-final between Wroclaw and Gorzow at the Olympic Stadium was due to take place on Sunday but has been postponed due to a wet weather forecast. That will now be staged on Friday – just two days before the play-off final, first leg is due to take place on Sunday, September 22.
