Danish racer Michael Jepsen Jensen starred on 13 points for Grudziadz as they stunned hosts Zielona Gora 51-39 in the PGE Ekstraliga on Friday.

MJJ made a game-changing move to Grudziadz following Speedway GP star Jason Doyle’s season-ending crash in May 2024, and he has taken his red-hot form into 2025, winning three races and picking up two seconds.

He was well supported by 10 paid 11 from Grudziadz teammate Jaimon Lidsey, with Speedway GP star Max Fricke adding eight paid 10 and Vadim Tarasenko scoring eight paid nine.

Former Speedway GP rider Przemyslaw Pawlicki was by far Falubaz’s top scorer on 14 points against his old club, while Jaroslaw Hampel scored seven paid nine points. SGP rider Leon Madsen accrued five points.

The day’s other match between Rybnik and Torun was postponed to Tuesday evening due to rain. Sunday’s fixtures see Czestochowa host Gorzow and Wroclaw welcome champions Lublin to the Olympic Stadium.
