Polish star Patryk Dudek picked up 13 paid 14 points for Torun to end PGE Ekstraliga champions Lublin’s unbeaten start to 2025 as the hosts triumphed 48-42 at the Marian Rose Motoarena on Sunday evening.
Dudek dropped just one point to an opponent – reeling off four straight victories at the venue that will stage the FIM Speedway of Nations from September 30 until October 4.
He was backed up by 10-point tallies from both Great Britain’s world No.2 Robert Lambert and Emil Sayfutdinov, with Mikkel Michelsen adding eight paid nine and Jan Kvech scoring three paid four as they prepare for the ATPI FIM Speedway GP of Great Britain – Manchester double-header on Friday and Saturday.
Five-time Speedway GP world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik bagged 15 paid 16 for the visitors, with Jack Holder scoring seven paid eight on his old home track – a total matched by SGP2 champion Wiktor Przyjemski. Fredrik Lindgren bagged seven and Dominik Kubera collected five.
Elsewhere, Gorzow wild card Oskar Paluch starred on 13 points to lead Gorzow to a 50-40 victory at home to Grudziadz.
The local youngster racked up three wins and two seconds at Edward Jancarz Stadium, where he makes his first SGP appearance over five or more rides in the Events.com FIM Speedway GP of Poland – Gorzow on June 21.
Slovak star Martin Vaculik raced to 12 points, with Latvia’s Andzejs Lebedevs notching nine paid 10 and Danish champion Anders Thomsen scoring eight paid nine points.
Danish racer Michael Jepsen Jensen’s red-hot form continues as he scored 14 paid 15 from six for Grudziadz, with Vadim Tarasenko adding 10 and Max Fricke collecting six paid eight.
