DREJER EXTENDS WITH CHAMPIONS

Danish young gun William Drejer has agreed fresh terms with Speedwayligaen champions Slangerup for 2026.

The SGP2 star finished fifth in this season’s FIM Speedway Under-21 World Championship – just three points short of a medal. But he won gold with Slangerup in Denmark’s top division.

Drejer joins former SGP2 racer Kevin Juhl Pedersen in the champions’ squad for next year.

Elsewhere, former SGP2 star Esben Hjerrild has completed a move to Speedwayligaen newcomers Nordjysk Elite Speedway. Hjerrild makes the move to Brovst from Vojens-based side Sønderjylland Elite Speedway.

And another Danish talent Emil Breum has agreed a contract extension with Esbjerg for 2026.
