DOYLE CONFIRMS 2024 SEASON OVER
10/08/2024

Aussie icon Jason Doyle says his arm is healing well but confirmed his 2024 season is over.
The 2017 Speedway GP world champion suffered a torn rotator cuff after crashing out of British club Ipswich’s Rowe Motor Oil Premiership match at King’s Lynn on Thursday, May 23, clearing the safety fence. He also sustained four broken ribs and a lung contusion.
Doyle returned to Poland for a post-surgery check-up, where doctors were happy with his progress. But the Orlen FIM Speedway GP of Poland – Warsaw winner admits he won’t make it back on track for the end of the European season.
Doyle’s place in the remaining five Speedway GP rounds will be taken by his fellow countryman, SGP first substitute star Max Fricke.
