DANISH HERO MADSEN STORMS TO HEROIC HOME WIN IN VOJENS

Danish racer Leon Madsen sent the locals wild as he became Denmark’s first home Speedway GP winner since 2015 at the DeluxeHomeart FIM Speedway GP of Denmark - Vojens on Saturday.
Madsen topped the podium at Denmark’s national speedway stadium ahead of Sweden’s Fredrik Lindgren, Australia’s Jack Holder and Great Britain‘s Robert Lambert on a night of high drama.
Madsen’s victory strengthens his push for automatic qualification for the 2024 Speedway GP series, while Lindgren’s second place brings him within six points of Speedway GP World Championship leader Bartosz Zmarzlik ahead of a tense final round in Torun, Poland on September 30.
