Former SGP2 bronze medallists Mathias Pollestad and Bartlomiej Kowalski have agreed Danish deals for 2026.

Polish racer Kowalski will spend his third straight season with champions Slangerup, joining the likes of 2012 Speedway GP world champion Chris Holder, SGP2 star William Drejer, Kevin Juhl Pedersen, Andreas Lyager and Marcus Birkemose in the squad.

Meanwhile, Norwegian sensation Pollestad, who leads his country into its first FIM Speedway World Cup Semi-Final next summer, has extended his stay with Grindsted into a third season.

Pollestad told the club’s Facebook page: “I am very happy to continue in Grindsted. I've had a great time with the team and coaching staff at the club.

"We have a strong atmosphere in the squad, we help each other on the track when necessary, and I especially feel the impressive support from the stands.

“That is why I have chosen to continue as a Grindsted rider in the 2026 season and fight for the championship with the club once again.”
