BEDNAR SET FOR SWEDISH BOW
09/11/2025

Czech sensation Adam Bubba Bednar will make his Swedish league debut in 2026 after signing for Bauhaus Elitserien side Rospiggarna.
Bednar heads to Hallstavik after a stellar 2025 season, which saw him finish fourth in the SGP2 series – just a point short of the FIM Speedway Under-21 World Championship podium.
He also helped Czech Republic reach the FIM Speedway of Nations Final and top-scored on 27 points from a possible 28 for the under-21 team in SON2.
Bednar competes for Polish side Gorzow and Prague club AK Marketa in his homeland, and he cannot wait to test himself in Hallstavik.
He said: “I am really happy to make my debut in Sweden and to ride for Rospiggarna. It is a great honour for me, and I can't wait to meet everyone in and around the club. See you in the spring.”
Club manager Alexander Edberg commented: “Adam Bubba Bednar is a rider for the future, and we saw that clearly during the Speedway of Nations week in Torun, as well as throughout the SGP2 series. Several clubs showed strong interest, but he chose us. We are happy to work with Adam and his team. 2026 will be exciting!”
Team managers Stefan Bäckström and Andreas Sundin added: “Adam Bubba Bednar is a young talent who has taken big steps this season. We believe he can develop even more with us here in Hallstavik. What we have seen from him so far has been very impressive.”
