FIM SGP2 of Poland - Torun

Torun’s Marian Rose Motoarena is the final European stop on the 2022 FIM Speedway Grand Prix World Championship calendar, and venue for the third and final round of SGP2 – the sport’s under-21 world championship.
Since the stadium first staged SpeedwayGP action in 2010, Greg Hancock, Tai Woffinden, Chris Holder, Bartosz Zmarzlik and Artem Laguta have all been crowned world champion in Torun.
Home to PGE Ekstraliga club KS Torun, the Marian Rose Motoarena is widely regarded as one of the finest race tracks in the world.
Local hero Pawel Przedpelski, Emil Sayfutdinov, Patryk Dudek and Robert Lambert all represent the Torun club in 2022 and will be bidding to take advantage of their home-track knowledge in the Torun SpeedwayGP.
But literally anything can happen on one of world speedway’s fairest and most exciting race tracks.

One of the world’s ultimate SpeedwayGP city breaks, Torun is a city that should be on every motorsport fan’s bucket list.

With a huge range of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops, the city centre is a lively place to be on Torun SpeedwayGP weekends as fans jet in from every corner of the world to enjoy this bustling university city.

Away from the Motoarena, a look around the medieval old town is an absolute must. You can take a walking tour with a local guide. The banks of the Vistula River offer more great places to stroll, run or relax.

As well as being known for its speedway, Torun is famous for its gingerbread and visitors can even try their hand at making it in The Living Museum of Gingerbread.

Alternatively, visit the House of Nicolas Copernicus – a museum dedicated to the famous astronomer born in Torun.
