Aussie ace Jason Doyle stormed to 12 paid 14 points as Leszno pulled off a dramatic 46-44 triumph away to PGE Ekstraliga champions Wroclaw on Friday.

The 2017 world champion went unbeaten by an opponent in his final four rides, culminating in a vital victory over Maciej Janowski and Gleb Chugunov in heat 14 to keep the Bulls ahead.

Former Speedway GP rider Janusz Kolodziej then sealed the points with a win over Tai Woffinden and Dan Bewley in heat 15 as he ended a stellar night on 13 paid 14.

Former World Under-21 champion Jaimon Lidsey also impressed for Leszno on nine points.

Bewley was Wroclaw’s top performer on 10 paid 12, with Woffinden tallying 10, Chugunov adding eight paid nine and Janowski scoring seven paid eight.

In the day’s other meeting, Polish racer Maksym Drabik powered to 16 paid 17 points for Lublin as they hammered Grudziadz 57-33. Drabik went unbeaten in his final five rides.

He was well supported by 11 paid 13 from Wiktor Lampart, while Speedway GP racer Mikkel Michelsen notched nine paid 11 and Dominik Kubera collected nine paid 10.

Triple world champion Nicki Pedersen was Grudziadz’s top scorer on nine paid 10 points.
